The hashtags #ThingsAspirinCures and #backinmyday may be the only good things to come out of the ridiculous comments Foster Friess made on Thursday.
The Rick Santorum backer and super PAC contributor shared his thoughts on contraception (and Bayer aspirin, for that matter) with the MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell on her show.
"This contraceptive thing, my gosh, it's such [sic] inexpensive," Friess said on the show. "Back in my days, they used Bayer Aspirin for contraceptives. The gals put it between their knees, and it wasn't that costly."
While Mitchell was at a loss for words, Twitter nearly exploded with reactions and "Foster Friess" was soon a top trending topic in the U.S.
